New Years Intentions Workshop, Jan. 5th

Class Description

Sunday, January 5th 2:00-5:00 PM Guided by artist and life coach Suzanne Wright, participants will make a "creative kit" to rev up supportive new year’s intentions and make them stick. Suzanne will walk you through accessible, step-by-step exercises that blend creativity, mindfulness and neuroscience helping you tap into momentum and flow for 2025. With a blend of traditional art materials, bits of nature, and items from the recycling bin, you’ll go from doodling imperfect circles and curvy patterning to creatively protecting and reinforcing your ring of New Year’s intentions. Along the way, you’ll be invited into the special Riverworks combo of art, nature, and nourishment – a powerful environment to get your fledgling intentions flowing in the brain and body. You’ll explore the circle-inspired sculptures of Riverworks co-founder David Theriault and engage with their five senses sampling products from Locals Farm Market and Restaurant, featuring the Montgomery County, MD Agricultural Reserve. You will leave the workshop with new insights, sustainable, at-home everyday practices and a chock-full New Year’s Kit complete with energized intention circles, a personal mantra, sensory reminders and much more.
