Class Description

Sunday, May 4th 2-6 pm Break through creative blocks—by making them! In this hands-on mixed media poetry workshop, we’ll craft “writer’s blocks” by collaging words, images, and found poetry onto wooden blocks to create tactile, one-of-a-kind pieces that blend art and language. This is a space to reconnect with your creativity, experiment freely, and explore poetry in a new, physical form. Whether you’re a seasoned writer or simply curious, you’ll leave with a fresh perspective and a beautiful piece of art to inspire future writing. All materials will be provided, but feel free to bring personal clippings or magazines to incorporate. Come ready to cut, paste, write, and play!
