Laurel Vaughan's impressionistic pastels and multi-media abstracts are deeply tied to her regional surroundings in the Shenandoah Valley. "I love Woodstock {VA}. It's kind of like living in Mayberry. I think I fund the community I was looking for," she said. "I just love it."
“Summer Abstractions” will be on display from Wednesday, June 24 through Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Locals Farm Market, 19929 Fisher Avenue, Poolesville, Md. This show is the 26th Riverworks “Artist in the House” exhibition to be featured at the historic Veirs-Stevens House at Locals.
