Design, Draw and Paint a Dreamcatcher!

Class Description

November 22nd, Riverworks Studio at Alden Farms 2:00 - 4:00 PM Ages 10 - 15 (Contact us for age exceptions) Come join Art Educator Talia Rizzo for this creative workshop designing experience. Young Artists will be introduced to the legend of the Dreamcatcher. After hearing about the legend we will look at examples of Native American Dreamcatchers as inspirations for creative design. Taking their new found understanding and inspiration artists will design their own Dream Catcher Imagery. Artists will use circular templates and expressive lines to develop their layout with black sharpies. Then they will explore incorporative color into their image merging the mediums of oil pastel and watercolors to create their magical piece.
