Drawing from Life

Class Description

Thursdays from 12:00-3:00PM 4 Classes - January 8th-29th Expand your skills for seeing and drawing the world around you with greater confidence and clarity. Through exercises that help us shift to our spatial and visual minds and build trust in our own hand-eye coordination, we will explore the foundations of drawing natural forms and spaces as a vital source for expression. We will use a variety of drawing media including pencils, charcoal, color pencil, black and color ink, and work at a range of sizes. This class is ideal for both beginners and those with experience in drawing. Jack Burbridge earned his MFA in painting at American University and lives and works in Silver Spring.
